Hi everybody,

on March 15th-16th thebigez – Vienna Ultimate Power will organise again the Ultimate Vienna Winter League in the Viennese synthetic grass Prater stadium. It will be played 5 vs. 5 on 4 small fields (about 55m x 23m). We can accept up to 20 teams. Since everybody should be able to play and play enough, it is in principle no problems if clubs with many players register more teams. Just let us know early enough.

The goal of the Winter League is to give the possibility to all teams in our ultimate neighbourhood to participate to good and affordable tournaments also in the lower season, to give us the right kick ... ehm, I mean “spin” to start in the best way an outdoor season, which promises to be long, intensive and above all very very funny!!!

The experience from last year really showed you that the Winter League can really fit the needs of everybody:

• young players may get more international experience and start getting addicted to Ultimate without having to drive for hours and spend lots of money

• old players who cannot easily take off for a full weekend because of family or business reasons, may still play good games and breath a great tournament atmosphere

• every body can really learn a lot from the others and I don’t mean only new tactics or drills, but much much more, because, you know, Ultimate is much more than people throwing a disc; it’s travelling, partying, meeting old friends and making new ones, always with a disc in one hand and a beer in the other ;-))

The tournament costs are: Teamfee: 50,- Euro. Player’s Fee: 12,- Euro.

This includes:
• dinner and party on Saturday,
• 1 night in the gym,
• breakfast on Sunday at the Gym
• and, of course, 2 splendid days of Ultimate, with music, sun and many nice people!!!

Please check our "shoecenter" to be sure you have the correct shoes with you (we’ll be VERY strict!).
